He has taught graduate-level business courses in Spanish at the National University of Chile and traveled very extensively throughout Spain and Latin America, on both business and pleasure. As a senior in high school, he won a scholarship for a summer’s travel in Mexico for top performance on a standardized national Spanish exam. Having retired as Professor Emeritus of Marketing at the University of Houston in 2017, he is striving to attain the Spanish government’s highest certification of mastery (DELE C2) in Spanish as a second language in May 2025. |

Around the World: Self Directed Tour

Join Neal Hansen as he shares a travel philosophy that he and his wife Judy have preferred for over 30 years of travel. He will use their recent around the world trip, Norway to South Korea and 5 other countries, to highlight the benefits, challenges and planning necessary for a successful self-directed adventure that included 15 days in Nepal including trecking the low Annapurna circuit. There will be a handout of contacts for services and programs you may find interesting.
