Who we are

An Independent, locally owned, general and travel specialty bookstore and brewery in Santa Fe, New Mexico located due east of the plaza in the oldest part of Santa Fe.

We are a prime resource for local recreational information for exploring the nearby national forests, wilderness areas and parks. We custom print full scale USGS Maps for the entire USA.

Under single ownership since creation in 1998 by Greg Ohlsen and Ellen Stelling founders of Garcia Street Books in 1990!

Greenland

Slow travel by ferry along the west coast of Greenland from Nuuk to Illulissat with stops in colorful villages along the way. Highlights included views of massive icebergs, hiking through rugged landscapes, and learning about Inuit culture.
