During the cold Minnesota winter, the Trump administration unleashed an unprecedented use of force upon the Twin Cities called Operation Metro Surge. In January, Santa Fe-based photojournalist Evan Frost journeyed home with his cameras to capture the stories of communities rallying to protect their neighbors as thousands of federal agents occupied the cities. He will show images made on assignment for NPR and work created by his fellow photojournalists in Minneapolis while facilitating conversation about documenting immigration enforcement in present day U.S.A.

Evan,a photojournalist, was a staff photographer at Minnesota Public Radio News from 2016-2021 He currently works at the Santa Fe Crisis Triage Center and leads student travel to Fiji, Mexico, and Europe in his spare time.
